Pyott Design's 3D printed Ergonomic Statial mouse
Pyott Design brings everyone a fun project, geared toward nearly every level. While some basic hacking is involved, they lead you through the process of creating a 3D printed ergonomic Statial mouse. The project basically involves using a Statial 3D printed cover, made of 18 different interlocking parts for the ultimate customization, and hacking into a Logitech mouse to remove its cover and replace it with the Statial design. The 3D printed portion has an area where the user can employ a coin to unlock or lock the top of the mouse into place after customizing it for true ergonomic fit. Very neat idea but come one, $70 just for the cover! You would also have to buy the mouse and then install this. For that kind of money you could buy a mouse with significantly better features for your money. At least offer the files up for non-commercial download.

Very interesting question, I'm absoloutely new to 3d printing but am aware of the joints that cannot be created/difficult to create using regular methods, I'm also a gamer who's gaming interests were/are League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I used these downloads to disable mouse mouse acceleration and use this mouse as a gaming mouse:

This mouse is essentially a rebranded navigation mouse with a different casing. To have a gaming mouse I suppose you would need to have a dpi switch along with additional buttons, and programmed dpi. I believe if you could make a shell for a mouse you could potentially 3d print your own gaming mouse. I apologize for "necroing" this forum in advance
