    printing in air

    hello,

i am new in the world of 3D printing. i have a leapfrog HS printer en working with simplify 3D.
i try to print a cup witch has a thin wall.
the base of the cup is printing well but when the printer has to print the thin wall it looks like he is missing some steps and then he is printing in air.
between the outher and inner wall he prints infill material and i think that is the problem it's to little. when i set infill to 100% he doesn't want to do that.
i want to print a massive wall and my printer refuses that.

Hi Steve, if I were you, I would try to increase the number of shells rather than the infill. How thick is your thin wall ? Why don't you try and make it a multiple of your nozzle diameter then ensure that your slicer puts as many shells as that ?

    hello,

thank you for reply but i found the problem ithe wall is filling up well. now i have another one, in the same piece.
in the beginning its printing well but after approx 10 layers he starts to print in air it's like the bed isn't leveld but that's not it.
