Fume Extraction

I see these exhaust ducts on thingaverse that people make in order to draw fumes out with a fan but does that cause any issues when printing with abs? I would think it would cause more drafts. Is it better to just have an exhaust hood over the printer or and just a window fan.

Fans definitely cause a draft, but as long as you're not blowing air directly at the print (or sucking a huge amount of air directly past the print), you should be ok with just a window fan. I personally use a computer cooling fan mounted on top of my printer and most ABS prints come out ok
