Reginald Taylor, a 46-year-old mechanical designer, has introduced a novel design available for download on MyMiniFactory. The popular film trilogy, The Matrix, featured autonomous killing machines called Sentinels, and Taylor has designed a very detailed 3D printable model of one. The intricate design features hundreds of individually 3D printed parts, including 30 pieces each in 10 tentacles, and 169 pieces comprising the Sentinel's claws. Familiar to fans of The Matrix, the Sentinel will surely prove a popular design for ambitious at-home makers who want to put their 3D printer to impressive modeling use.
