Poland-based Pirx 3D has been around for just a year, and already is fast-tracking their involvement in the 3D printing field. Today, the company announced their new, more robust 3D printer, the PIRX One. The affordable desktop 3D printer brings impressive precision in a steel frame, adding stability and a Q Sensor system that calibrates and levels the bed automatically, cutting setup time and making the whole printing process easier. The PIRX One offers 10 micron precision, is FFF-based, and has a build envelope of 210 x 270 x 210 mm. Of the two models available, the PIRX One 1.1 can print using PLA, Nylon, PS, Laywood, and Ninjaflex filaments at 1.75mm, while the PIRX One 1.2 can print with all those materials and, thanks to its heated bed, ABS. The PIRX One 1.1 is available for $1,200 and the PIRX One 1.2 for $1,400, both on the company's website.
