It's a big printer for a great price,
Some had no problem to get it do amazing prints, some had some more trouble, there were some problems with the power supply shorting out, and troublesome...

and did you remove the older version ?
Last time with an update there were also some problems with the software, look at some older posts.

the resolution is better for the SP model, but do you need that accuracy ?
but if you are scanning objects with flat surfaces an not much detail, the SP might be better as the scan table has markers...

The only way to do that is putting the Fish through an CT scanner or MRI scanner, that data can be transformed to 3D data

and no, it's not that good with shiny surfaces or sharp edges, like most structured light scanners.
You need to make it a solid, and the slicer will create the infill with your slicer settings :)
David system is maybe a little better then the Einscan-Pro but is a lot of work to setup properly,

There aren't many 3D scanners that can scan shiny reflective surfaces, they all need a dull even colored surface for the best result,

having to wait 1 minute between reporting messages is also not helping,
if I wan to report multiple posting it could take 10 minutes :(, so I stopped doing that.
