It's not that you're redrilling, it's just a convenient tool sized for the job. Anything to just poke it out works. Just heat and push the plastic out of the way and you're golden.
This is excellent advice. I also suggest using a piece of paper to judge how close your nozzle is to the board. Getting that homed in and using this above tip will overcome some slight leveling...
No. I mean maybe you could get it to fit depending on your exact extruder but you will have to modify all your settings and for the most part you need to change out some hardware.

Can do abs and about 1kg per hour production rate. Should have mine built in the next week or so.
Reminds me of the wood filaments but hopefully it will be cheaper in the long run because I struggle to justify $45-$50 a kg for the wood.
