David,
I am also using a v2 as of last Friday and haven't had any issues, but I don't use the integrated camera. A few suggestions..
SSH into the Pi and do a `sudo apt-get update` then `sudo...
Excellent, thank you!
I am using S3D as well and have it the width set to auto, which it sets as 0.48. I normally print at 0.2mm layer heights, but sometimes do use 0.3mm.
Can you give a little more information in regards to this and how to check it?
I created this to support the bundle of cables coming from the PCB. It attaches to the wooden part below the heater PCB.

I figure it might help keep...
No, I had to take the shroud off to put the stock fan on, I also removed the 25mm fan, but didn't change out the shelf.
I also have the E3D fan blowing backwards, with the air coming out away from...
An update on my PETG issues...
I increased the temperature from 245 to 255 and then noticed the fins were rather warm, so I put the stock E3D fan on the unit and soo far, it seems to be working...
Not here, it looks like poop, but doesn't harm the PEI.
No, the only time I have jamming problems is with PETG and only after a bit if printing. I'm playing with increasing the temperature a bit to see what happens, I'll post an update when I have one. ...
All,
Does anybody have the part number for the connectors that Colin puts on the hot end and thermistor that come with the kits? I expect I will need the information for the housings and the pins.
I have had mine close enough to where it blocks the extruded filament from coming out without any damage to the PEI sheet. It however wouldn't tolerate the nozzle sitting on the PEI for a long...
I flipped mine backwards as well without any problems.
I am still having some jams with the V6, so I ordered some PTFE tubing today with an ID of 2.0mm to see if it helps.
...
Do any of you use a part cooling fan with ABS? Is it possible to use that instead of slowing down when you have layers that take a short amount of time to prevent the goopy mess that happens when...
Ohh... oops
How did you guys handle the PTFE tube?
I have the E3DV6 installed with your revision of the cooling system and everything appears to be ok, except the duct which surrounds the cooling fins seems a little short by just 1-1.5mm. Thank you!...
Hmm... Unplug everything from the RAMPS board and try to power it up, then add one component at a time?
Be sure to disconnect your Raspberry Pi as well.
Sooo... Does the PEI sheet make noise while warming up and cooling down for anybody else? Mine makes a popping/cracking noise and it kinda freaks me out.
I just installed PEI on my bed and ran my first print, a simple 20 x 20 calibration cube and had no problem at 230/85 with ABS, specifically Hatchbox ABS in Black.
It can be set in firmware and there are also M commands for it.. This thread may explain better than I can.

The green wire is PS-ON and connecting it to ground tells the PS to power on and supply the other rails, so double check that to make sure it is still connected.
In addition, even with it off, you...
I ordered mine today, so I will be able to help with testing, if you need it, once it shows up.
I have been noticing the lack of flexibility of the cables from the bed heater to the relay, I have been considering replacing them with the same silicon cables that I use to feed power to the relay...
What are the differences you notice with the E3D vs the Hexagon?
