Building from scrap is probably best done by someone who already likes to tinker and has a pretty good knowledge of things. Getting a cheap quality kit is a great way to learn more about the systems.

This seems like a very good upgrade, it's awesome that they are offering it as an upgrade option for previous buyers as well instead of creating a whole new system.
I really think your most important feature is your price, it is extremely reasonable for what you are offering. Definitely can't get any better than that!
