Start by making sure your belts are tight. Then make sure your frame is tight.
If that all checks out, you might check that the smooth rods are straight and true.

I only see one problem. The arms will start to bow, after they get past a certain length. You'll only be able to expand the print bed to a certain point, unless you use larger diameter smooth rods....

Part of it depends on your electronics. The current RAMPS board (1.4) has hookups for two extruders. I'm not sure about other controllers.
