I did not really expect it to stick. Wanted you to test to see if that what causing the problems.

Calculating your hotbed current at 12v divided by .7 ohms equals 17.14 amps
What type of your power supply are you using. Voltage, Current and watts.
Can you try a print without using the hotbed...

As any more testing could cause damage to the power supply. I would then get a meter...
