Hi,
I am wondering the same. It seems this is a very tinker-heavy installation.
Do you have it running yet and if so, how many hours have you put into tuning it so far?
I might take you up on that :)Thanks for that advice, it does look very good, for a Chinese build.I will trust you on the mobo as well.
Source?I am wondering whether to buy the Anycubic Photon X or Mono X with supreme speed and alleged higher lifespan. I am wondering if anyone can back that last statement up from experience.
Thanks! It's looking good for the CR-10S Pro V2 so far. Has anyone used it for over a year or, say, over 200 prints?
CA I think you were referring to the CR-10S Pro.What are these issues?I heard the He3D Sky (similar build) has wobble issues but haven't heard that about the Creality. So we're all curious to learn...
Thanks for the advice!CA could you expand a bit on why Formbot is so much better?Since Formbot and Creality are both Chinese builds though, I'm also wondering about electronics reliability since...
Hi, I've read that putting an E3D nozzle on Creality CR-10S Pro V2 is possible and only requires a simple recalibration because the nozzle got 0.5mm taller.
Can anyone confirm?
Anyone else have any issues with Creality boards? I'm especially looking for experiences with the Creality 3D CR-10 Pro V2 model. It seems very interesting.
Nobody answered and maybe there just isn't any answer. I'm wondering exactly the same thing.
There are also some large-volume delta printers that perform well up to 300 mm/s, but with costs...
Hi, thanks for sharing. I'm veering towards the Creality 3D CR-10 Pro. What did you end up deciding? If you got the Creality model, has it been performing well over time? That's my biggest question...
I'm not a fan of the Ender, or Monoprice for that matter, even though they're USA-designed and built.
Yet as the student previously mentioned, if one tree in the Creality forest is rotten, why...
Thanks for the advice, I am also thinking of taking a large leap over all the Chinese brands to land in Prusa-land. Unless there's a brand that can meet some reliability standards (anyone? Is...
Interesting machine - does anyone have a price on it?
I advise SLA printers only for professional use. Essentially you need a lab for it. You get skin and respiratory irritant fumes. You will be cleaning everything around you with alcohol wipes at the...
Hi,
I agree but not everyone wants to be operating a 3D printer from their apartment - they're noisy, take up space (+proper storage of filament rolls) and cause some fumes. It's much better to...
Lol, I'm flattered but please don't copy-paste my posts.
On topic, the most important thing is to have a plan for your 3D printer and decide based on that.
At this moment I would recommend...
Hi,
That's a good review and introduction to benchtop SLA printing.
You have to be willing to do some serious messing around with liquid chemicals.
Getting them onto your skin is not...
Looks impressive. And interesting!
I have been seriously wanting to learn to weld for almost 10 years, but never got to enrolling in a course.
Then if I would be welding for customers, it would...

Hi,
I am a product designer and have upgraded my 3D printer range, with too little space in my studio for four printers I am selling my Ultimaker Original. With a record of 1,500-2,000 print hours...
I reckon for brands that offer a forum of their own, 3DPB does not add one (Ultimaker, Snapmaker for example)
Things don't get off-topic like they do on the 3dpb offtopic section :)
"Ultrafine particle emissions from desktop 3D printers" by Dr. Brent Stephens is generally the paper people refer to when discussing this.
Different studies show that ABS emits about 10 times more...

These lenses were made with a desktop SLA machine, polished and resin dipped. I'd say an above 90% transparency is possible. For FFF printers try HDglass, printed at low layer thickness with...
