It might slightly overrun your budget, but I would take this one:

Very precise and a lot of open options to manipulate your scans.
Did you try to reduce Model to raft distance?
By Default it is 0.23. Reduce it to 0.18 maybe.
Go to Filament Load and while filament is loading, look at the back of SE.
Silver wheel should turn.

This is where wheel is connected to the Carriage.
If it turns properly while Filament...
Hi there
you can try and open SE to see problems (if they are there).
But most simple solution would be - get yourself new SE and make sure it is SE+

Try this one:

Of course.
There is only one SE and it is the same for all units.
SE+ is definitely the must.
I have Z18 for 1.5years so far. SE was kind of weak point of it, but managable.
SE+ is much better, we produced great prints with no efforts compared to previous SE.

If I would be at your place I would start by testing different printers with the same sample of your part.
Take one, very representative, with all those details you would like to see...

Shortly said: one can use ABS on Z18, but with a lot of patience and knowledge of course.
Heated chamber can heat up to 55dc. This alone is obviously not enough for successful preventing warp...
