I need something like this so I can tell when this cheap a$$ SainSmart filament breaks.
I bought the Sainsmart PLA-157 black from Amazon last November and it is junk. So brittle it breaks while feeding thru the tube. I have had to repeatedly start over prints.
So now I have some...
I have had this problem myself, and it did it just last week. I dont see how it can be a bad contact problem when mine would stop at the same place.
Seems to me a contact problem would be random....
You will stand a better chance if you goto the Flashforge forum.

Pretty, but glass on hard plastic would slide easley and no absorption for sweating.
After hours of trying different codes I did get simplify to do a pool in the corner and lay down a line to the part, but only for the one part.
Problem is, simplify puts in its code after the...
I hate the purge simplify does before printing. I love the way RepG feeds a little pool onto the corner then continues feeding the filament out while traveling to your part.
I switched to Simplify3D last weekend and you may have the same thing I cant figure out. I am getting spider webs when my head moves from one wall over to the other. So I am playing around with the...
I have always run my pla at 220 with replicatorG and never had a problem. I will try the coasting. I see it is default at .20mm.
What would be the cause of spider webs when the head stops extruding and moves to another location?
They even show in the preview.
Mine is great. Took out of box and started printing. I did add a white led strip inside, made a big difference.
I can make rubber stamps in minutes on my laser.
Its not pretty, but by gosh I can see now. :)
The led strip in these things is pitiful, so I bought one of those 18" led strips at Lowes made by Utilitech. Much better.

It had very small droops in the top. Here is a tripod knob I did just now. Much stronger than the original.
Bottoms have the same texture that the 3M tape has.

Well after a week I finally got to play with the new printer and my first print. This turned out better than I thought for no experience and default ReplicatorG settings....
Methyl ethyl ketone
Works great for cleaning brushes that have been subjected to fiberglass resin too.
You must have gotten some that is gone now, although I am new to these printers, the white that come with my Pro today is not a bright white.
Man it would be great if we had or someone could make a complete exploded view of the FlashForges.
Oh yea, burned plenty of Verbatim cd's and dvd's. Might turn out to be good stuff for a decent price.
Hey Geoff, you make any parts for the Cinetank?
I thought you got that price lowered when you contacted them direct and not thru their site. Good grief.
I paid $15.30 for the Mightyboard which is about right for UPS.
I just went to their...
Send Peter a PM. He mentioned in another thread that their website somehow screws up the shipping and to contact them to get a shipping quote.
Boy, they really make it look user friendly.
