I contacted flashforge support directly (they are extremely quick to reply and are very helpful) and it looked like my build plate was actually bad too. I just received a new built plate and circuit...
So....my new issue
I just fixed the issue where my machine would not turn on. The wiring from the power supply to the circuit board was melted...replaced these parts and now the machine turns...
I tested the power supply with a multi-meter and it is reading 24V coming out (and the power supply says DC output 24V)...so the power supply seems fine.
Guess it is the board
On the home depot website...it says it only supports PLA. I assume you can also use ABS?
I assume that it is a single extruder...also can any brand of ABS spools fit in there, or do you have to use their own ABS spools?

I removed the extruders and belt and the issue...

I only tightened the belt that goes under the dual head assembly...would there be other areas that I would need to look at for the belts that may need to be tightened
Yes, Roxy, the build plate is the standard three screw spring-mounted type.
Thanks jfkansas...I will give that a try. Would you perchance remember how long you cut the tube pieces to put into...
Hi all,
I have a flashforge creator x and my prints have started coming out 'shifted'
Any ideas what could cause this? (see attached pics)
Running ABS...single right extruder (never used...
