Thank you for the interest, we compromised to resolve the problem, but it's not the best solution. I presume it's mechanical because we tested a lot. We will make that model again, and will post the...
I mentioned in the first post that it's a Flash Forge Creator Pro, 2015 model. It has printed almost 1000 meters and I guess that it needs some service.
I didn't write a lot of information because...
The cause is almost sure mechanical. We will probably need to change some parts in the near future. We made a detour and set the layer start points at random points to minimize the effect. In the...
No, it's not the slicer. The problem is that after travel moves there is no extrusion for a few moments. Not all the prints have this problem, but when I print multiple objects on the same plate this...
It is happening with every filament and almost every print.
Hello, we have some problems with our FFCP.
It seems like there is no consistent extrusion at the layer start or after travel moves.
Here are some pictures:...
Thanks! :o
I have another thread in the blender artists forum and am hopefull that someone will light the way for this procedure in Blender. When I saw a pro using this FREE software I instantly...
All our printers have 0.4 nozzle so, 0.35 would be the maximum of vertical declivity that we feel safe with :)
So, here is my wip apple in 123d Design. I guess it will do the job after all. Preety neat features, forgot all about transforming sketches in solids and using fillet on multiple edges at once. Sure...
Yes, something like that, but in the case of lofing there are no round edges, only straight lines from the larger text to the smaller text and the angle will be sharp. Tried this and ended up with a...
Hello, I recently started using Blender cause 123dDesign & Meshmixer don't have all the options I need. I have some basic skills of fiddling around with the mesh
My question is:
How can I subtract...
I printed the model and 0.4 is an ok tolerance so that the joint moves freely. I use 0.2 tolerance for interconnecting non-moving parts
Thank you for advice. I wouldn't even have bothered anymore if the scanner didn't tease me fo 5 hours and could test a few settings.
Hello, I rented a Creaform Handyscan UNIScan 2011 version and it came with a laptop that has VXElements as a scan software.
It didn't worked at first but after 2 hours of trying some stuff like...
Thanks for information but I was talking about STL-s that are already combined and optimized for 3d printing (like downloaded from thingiverse).
In Netfabb there is a button called "ruler". It...
Hello, I have a question regarding measuring tools for STLs. I am talking about premade STLs and not made by me.
I have been working with 123D Design, Netfabb and Meshmixer for 3 months but none of...
In the last picture I posted (page 2), above the red line and just after the corner there is a bulge appearing. Below the red line the print is without acceleration and above with default...
Simplify 3D
The problem is that when I up the speed (as seen above the red line) there is a bulge appearing right after the sharp corner. That happens to all the prints.
Yes, we used the same filament. I was talking about the bulge that appears after sharp corners. The Z seam is where we put it (on another face of the bag handle).
The story of our FFCP is a little...

After a lot of tests and calibration we found out that there is inconsistent movement to the X and Y rods.
This could be because of bearings or belts. Don't know yet.
Edit: Saw on a lot of forums...
Someone had this problem and still no solution

The bulge almost disappeared after changing some JKN values and acceleration.
Update:
I found the culprit.. it's the acceleration
Left one is without acceleration and right one with acceleration.
...
Yes, the bag handle was printed standing up and the coat hangers on one side.
For the handle the point for the Z scar is where it's supposed to be. That bulge is not on the exact opposite face, it...
