I'm not sure it would be "critical". I'd still buy a printer for $120 instead of $1200, assuming that peachy can meet or beat Makerbot. I'm pretty sure it can, but if it can't it is still a good deal.

While the pictures that they have aren't much to look at, I think that the final quality should be much much better. The current pictures, for instance, have artifacts from surface tension problems....

I think so. Rylan told me that, right now, it doesn't work because the volume is too low. I think he's planning on some circuitry to mitigate this and a few other compatibility issues. Just fiy,...

Current slicing software ("slicing" = turning into layers and paths) offers a variety of infill options, including totally hollow.

I'm sure it won't be hard to stick a needle in, mid print, to leave a whole when you pull it out. Problem solved :)

I think stretch goals are a bit much, actually. What's already there is just fine for one kickstarter :P
I would rather have 2 or 3 kickstarters for every bloated one I see.
