I'm wondering what Lisa is chatting about. Lol
What does this have to do with a sofa?
It's about the print bed.
Umm, ok.
I've settled on a quick wipe with a towel lightly dampened with Acetone.
It also helps to keep your fingers off the bed. Skin oils can affect bonding to the bed.
Are you copying .stl files to the SD? If so, you will never see them.
You use a slicer program such as Cura to set your print params and slice it, creating a .gcode file.
That's the file you put on...
Why print food? Just boil a spool of it, slop it on a plate, and have at it.
I saw your pics ok. I made the same box for my deep well mm sockets a while ago using a LQ config.
Cura, bottom left of screen shows object name and size. You can +/- the size in %. With object selected, left side screen. Second lab flask down, (that's what I think they are) check uniform scaling,...
Sticky notes work good for nozzle spacing. Adjust for just a very slight tug on the paper. Make sure the nozzle doesn't have a booger hanging off the end of it.
I like to use 170-180º when setting...
Try 215º. 60-65 is good.
I use 65 for the Ender mag mat, and 60 for glass.
What temperatures are you using?
A 2 or 3 layer brim should do it.
What profile in the slicer are you using? Standard ought to be fine.
Scad creates the .stl file. Load that into the slicer (Cura) and copy the item there.
In Cura, right click the object and choose "Multiply selected model.
It's an old thread. Start a new one.
I didn't see a problem. Maybe edit the pic with an arrow.
Got a different angle with better lighting?
Sorry, flow.
Is that 100% infill? Lower the extrusion 5 or so %.
You really ought to get used to metric measurements. Especially if you intend to make any kind of presence in the world.
I thought it was spelled Merlin.
Go to https://www.tinkercad.com and take the lessons they offer. It's all free.
OK, try this. Install Cura slicer https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura
Now, go to stlfinder, com and look around. Use Cura to convert .stl files into gcode for the printer.
You can get a printer for $150. I have a very reliable Ender 3 pro. After that is the filament @ about $20/1kg roll. Start with plain PLA filament. I like Sunlu, but have a couple other brands.
...
I have an Ender 3pro that has been printing various stuff, almost every day since early Nov '20. No complaints at all.
You just need to know how to tune your slicer program (Cura is one) for the...
Try 60º bed temp. 220º first layer and 215º for layers after that.
Have the slicer lay down a skirt of a couple passes and watch it. If the skirt adheres to the bed, you're good. If it doesn't,...
