I'd love to have a more affordable resin for my Form 1+ but I've already tried a few off-brand alternatives and they all fell short of Formlabs resin.

1st and 3rd place winners designs are outside of the build area limits in the rules.
If the rules don't matter why have them?
Not a fair contest obviously
Mine is kind of likeMjolinor's accept mine is in the familyroom of my apartment:

My Form 1+ can be seen in the center.
OK thank you!
Sounded really cool but I tried to get in on this and it requires you have a bunch of equipment and I cant seem to be a part of the project without it:
"Let's get started by setting up your new...
What ever happened to this? Anyone seen one?
- What is the most interesting thing you have seen done with a 3D printer or 3D printing technology?
Definitely 3D printing using human cells to print blood vessels, and other body parts.
As an...
I missed the pricetag, did they give an estimated cost anywhere?
Those are awesome! I'd love to try printing some of those!
How would you get a printable CAD file of a whole country?!
Her "vaginascapes" are awesome! The golf course is my favorite!
I really don't think its that rare if at all. Others have posted about first the last bits of hollowed models failing and then eventually everything does and that's how it happened with me. I'm still...
My first printer's galvometers went bad during a firmware update, my next had a laser wear out.
I havent figured out whats wrong currently and have been waiting a week at a time for replies from...
I'm not trying to talk you out of it but just be aware that resin wont be your only expense involved in printing. I'm on my third Form 1 and I would like to "upgrade" to the F1+ but not willing to...
That's kind of funny, but it begs for a different picture!!!
My Form 1 print times have been between 1 to 14 hours, most are probly around 5 hours. I think my longest was the Eifel tower when I made a big one split into 2 prints at 14 hrs each.
I use a Sense scanner and print the busts myself on my Form 1,
BUT busts are the only thing I've had any success scanning with it at all
and I have to do extensive cleanup and repair to the file...
There are two that I really have my eye on right now:
The Solidator http://www.solidator.com/3D-Printer.html
The Owl Nano http://oldworldlabs.com/
I've gone thru several liters of resin with my...
I've searched this thread but dont see who won, is it posted somewhere else?
Is there somewhere where we can check how many entries we have been awarded?
I'm in the US and as I stated Staples has been selling Cubify printers and stuff for a while. You can also order prints online and pick them up at the store.
They've been selling the Cube 3D printer at Staples for a while now, its around $1300 if I remember right.
It would depend completely on the resolution, the cost, max volume, etc., but I'd probly try alot of the same things that I print in resin. The Eifel Tower, some throwing stars, QR code rings......
I printed an Eiffel Tower on my Form 1 I'm not sure I have the same model as they're using but I'll try it again eventually with the same model to see.
But on the one I printed the one rail fell...
I see one picture they have of a failed Makerbot print on Kickstarter but all the others are of Pegasus prints, where are the ones of the Form 1 prints located? thanks
And unfortunately I don't have...
