Carbon is the main additive for conductive filament. It is cheap and high conductive, but the material will be brittle if carbon is enough. If you need higher conductive material, carbon nano tube...
Speed is so fast. Printing with Tpu/tpe is different from PLA/ABS, you should slow and low printed temperature.
You could try soften flexible TPE filament. TPE material is more like rubber.
For gear, I suggest you could have a trial with POM filament. This material are used for gear in molding. High strength and self-lubricating property make is as the best options for gear.
Actually, there has medical grade tpu and tpe, It is very expensive. We have not found any manufacturer provided this type of filament. Most of flexible is tpu or tpe material.
I guess that you need clear printed part without no treat. We have trial several type of trans filament, such as natural pla, trans abs, petg, pc, pmma and natural tpu. To be honest, All of them are...
ABS is not suitable for this part. According to our experience, maybe you could have a trial with ASA material. It has similar properties and have better weather resistance. If you need to be ...
Actually the warp of petg is higher than PLA.
I recommend the prusa I3,We have tried with several type of filament. The performance is so good as far.
This is an old topic, you could view the link:http://www.filalab.com/how-to-choose-3d-printing-filament-pla-vs-abs-or-pc/.
Meanwhile,There are other filament for options, such as PETG,high Temp PLA...
The most difference is the looks,The temp should be higher when print with melt fill filament.
After view the photos attached,I think you could have a trial with below:
1.Turn the printer temperature to 250C.PETG is better material than PLA,the melt point is similar as abs.
2.set the...
Prusa i3 could be fit for you.
