I've tried the nylon before and it still didn't work. Couldn't get it to go past the clog. Is there a specific method to doing this?

This doesn't seem like much on the surface, but I think this could become huge. If more and more app developers start making their apps compatible with MakerBot printers, people could print...
I never have any specific ventilation set up. There is very little smell or fumes when printing with PLA or ABS, at least not that I notice. Does anyone know if it can be toxic at all?
I don't feel an overwhelming need to transport my 3d printer that often. I guess for people that are constantly moving around this could be a good option.
this isn't my design but I saw it on google+. It is 3d printed in parts and then painted using automobile paint. This turned out better than I would have expected. I was unaware that auto paint...
Looks like an interesting read. Wish it was more readable online, as the $60 price tag won't make them many sales.
I love these. My little boy has an obsession with turtles. I'll be printing these out as my next project :) Thanks for sharing
Holy Cow! These are really nice. What type of printer do you use to print them? Do you outsource the printing to a company like Shapeways?
Amazing! I want one of these printers! I would print dead dust mites to scare away the real dust mites living in my bed :)
I also just used Slic3r. I haven't ever tried anything else. Just always assumed it was the best.
There are a lot of technologies on there I didn't even know existed. I'm gonna go research some of these. What exactly is Glue Laminate, or for that matter Laminated Type all together?
For the Easter holiday, one of the Makerbot stores decorated quite nicely. Off course they used 3D printed decorations....
Oh wow, that sucks. How much damage was done? Could you simply put it back on, or did it damage any of the parts? Never have had this happen to me, but then again I never ran out of filament when...
I personally believe that the support idea that they have used is quite brilliant. It allows you to make multiple prints faster, without having to print support material again. Also the prints come...
Curiousity has gotten the best of me here. I'm trying to get my reprap printing the best I possible can, and it seems like I've been spending over a month trying to calibrate it. Has everyone else...
I'm what I would consider a newbie. Is it normal for PLA to ooze out and dry under the nozzle when the extruder cools down? It seems as though that the dried PLA I'm referring to then stops the Z...
