    ReplicatorG (first gen) keeps disconnecting

So I have a MakerBot ReplicatorG (first Gen) and unfortunately it keeps disconnecting the usb mid printing, I tried printing several designs but same result, the fimware is the latest to I know that's not the problem, but can anyone else let me know why this is happening?

    Thanks

Mine has been having a: "extruder failure, temperature reads out of range, check wiring." warning since I upgraded to sailfish on my Replicator 2.
I never had a problem before. Sorry to piggyback your problem. I have been searching for a while.

You shouldn't print over USB it is not reliable. I suppose you worked that out.

Use the SD card, there is no real fix for it as your computer is not capable of replying to real time requests, it will always have things like clocks and the GUI to look after.
