The MakerBot Ghostly Vinyl Challenge has ended and the winners have been announced. A mix of international makers hailing from New Zealand, Italy, and France submitted the winning designs for 3D printed devices inspired by vinyl records and turntables. Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Ghostly International, a recording label and music-publishing company, is also a cutting-edge innovator that sees the possibilities of 3D design and printing as virtually limitless. All of the objects designed for the Ghostly Vinyl Challenge were 3D printed and featured the company’s distinctive gumdrop-like ghost logo.
