Digitizer and Solidoodle? Will they work well together?

Anyone know if the Digitizer and the Solidoodle would work well together, or do you suggest I get a Replicator 2 to go along with my digitizer?

Of course Makerbot will make you think it's best to have the Replicator to go along with the Digitizer, but there is very little advantage to having both MakerBot products rather than the Digitizer with another 3D Printer. Other printers should be just as compatible, because your scans are turned to files that are printable on any 3D Printer (as long as it's good enough for the detail needed).
