Florida-based artist Mark Leonard, who works with Aztec Scenic Design, has created some impressive pieces using 3D printing already. This week, though, he's teamed up with Spyder 3D World to create a new tech section of their online community, including new techniques and tricks. Leonard has refined a process called "fiber bridging" that can allow for impressively detailed 3D printing work to be done -- so fine, in fact, entire paintbrushes and brooms can be 3D printed with functional bristles. Single filament strands bridge across entire 3D printer beds to create these functional and detailed objects. Check out details in the full article: http://3dprint.com/32480/
