Instructables user drhatch has created and shared an eight-step guide to creating a 3D printed word clock. The light wells and diffusers for the clock are printed at the same time using a two-headed printer. He used black ABS plastic for the word wells and then a much thinner printing (0.05”) to create the light diffuser. As a personalized touch, the clock will illuminate the words “family is four ever” at exactly four o’clock each day.
