The artists at 3Doodler, the affordable and user-friendly 3D pen, shared their design and production process for creating a miniature solar system. The prototype for the model was produced for and displayed in the window at the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) Design Store in New York City last spring. Creating all eight planets and the Sun using different means, the model came out pretty impressively, and the team over at 3Doodler shared their process to create them using a few different techniques to model the celestial bodies.
