Dublin-based Niccolo Gallarati, an enterprising 3D printing-savvy inventor and entrepreneur who co-founded Garageeks Limited, has come up with ClampHero, a simple but ingenious device designed to hold electronic gadgets like e-readers, tablets, and smartphones on the back of the seat in front of you on an airplane or train. ClampHero has about two weeks remaining in its Kickstarter campaign. In the small-batch manufacturing stage of ClampHero, Garageeks is using a process they call parallelized 3D printing, which involves using multiple 3D printers to increase numbers and reduce production time.
