General Electric has been busy behind the scenes with their plans on the additive manufacturing front. While GE has been using 3D printers for quite some time, and especially in their aerospace division with 3D printed nozzle interiors, they are investing $32 million in a new facility just outside Pittsburgh, PA. GE will use the new facility and employ a new workforce to research, develop, and focus on additive manufacturing as well as advanced manufacturing and technology in general.
