Match.com 3D Prints Life-size Replicas of Their Users to Put in Store Front Windows

Window shopping for a date has never been so literal. This week in London, Match.com has 3D printed the heads of two eligible bachelors and put them on well-dressed mannequin bodies to give passing ladies as life-sized look at two men from the dating website. Keron Knight and Michael Catuogno will have their doppelgängers on display in a 'Guy Candy' window display through this Friday, and passers by are invited to check out their Match.com profiles. The 3D printed heads were designed (following a 40-plus-camera scan) using iMakr software to ensure likeness to the originals. See more details: http://3dprint.com/24431/match-com-3d-prints-men/

Below is a look at the window display with the men next to their mannequins:

The most expensive personal marketing I've seen so far.

Five people, three weeks and their skin tones were still pretty far off.
