    3D Printed Trail Marketers Created to Bend With Terrain

    Matt Hagedorn, of the Victoria University of Wellington, has designed what could be a very important new method of marking trails, while adding a lot to the process. With his 3D printed trail markers, Hagedorn has created a biodegradable, all-natural way to mark hiking trails. The 3D printed markers are compatible with smartphone apps, which upon scanning, display an array of information such as location, area information, nature information, and more. Hikers can also scan new areas for markers, which are then designed specifically for their location and 3D printed.     Great idea! Most trails these days are either not marked or only poorly or partially marked.
