Belt slipping on FF Pro, any suggestions to fix this?

    Hello

I have a recurring problem on a Flashforge pro and was wondering if anyone has had similar issues and how they fixed it

I think this little plastic piece of mine is warped because no matter how hard I screw it down, the belt always slips out to the left after a few hours printing.

I want to fix this by using super-glue to hold the belt to this plastic part, but if this doesnt work, I am going to ruin the part. I think I need a new one of these little plastic pieces but I dont know if you can even buy them. Is there any fix I can do to make sure the belt stops slipping out? maybe some kind of thin pad between the belt and the clip.

Maybe I just need a new belt? I dont know, I am willing to try a lot of things to fix this. Thanks for any advice people can give.

The belts grip well on my two printers. Never slip. Could it be the screw loosening? Might try locktite.
Cyanoacrylic (superglue) can take the temperature but I am not sure it will hold with those materials.
Belt should not be worn at clamp, except for slipping.
Is it possible that you have excessive load on the belt from a worn idler or extruder getting stuck that could be yanking on belt.?

    Super Glue is your saviour!!

My X-Carriage belt holder is glued on! I used that super clear cheap $2 bargain shop super glue, because I know it dries SUPER fast and never loses its bond ... its a shame it only comes in those little tiny tubes...
I glued mine and that glue will hold the belt holder strong enough - just give it a good hour before you put the belt back in and apply tension.

My Flashforge came broken in transit when I got it years ago, that whole piece had snapped off, it did not screw on. I superglued it.

I binned it and made a steel one, not had a problem for 6 months since I did that.
