Hot End Thermistor Replacement

Hi All,

Ive managed to break my existing hot end thermistor in my Ordbot Hadron, so ordered some new ones. I noticed that the existing thermistor had a clear cover / insulation over the two wires, however the new ones that I ordered dont.

Is anyone able to advise if it essential that insulation is used to keep the wires from touching as Im struggling to find any.

The insulation is vital to prevent the leads shorting together.. I use PTFE heat shrink - search for the smallest diameter you can find.
