An Italian electronics hobbyist has built what he calls the "SeraMaker," a 3D printer build project which was the basis for a thesis required for the state exam in "Electrical, Automation and Safety at Work" at the Istituto D'Istruzione Superiore Giacomo Floriani. The project carries on the RepRap tradition and it was inspired by designs for the Prusa Mendel i2 version of the RepRap. The designer has released all the necessary files and tutorials to let you print and build your own version of the SeraMaker. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/70754/seramaker-3d-printer/

Below are a couple of pictures of the SeraMaker fully constructed. Let us know if you take on this project as we would love to follow along!
