There's also help with end g-code in http://3dprintboard.com/showthread.p...7-Ending-Gcode

Here is the starting gcode script I use with S3D. Note that I don't have ABL, and my home is at the front-left corner of the printer. I split up the homing process to first move the nozzle to the front left, then I prime the extruder so I can wipe it manually, and then I home Z.

    Code:
; Simplify3D will already have printer at temperature by this point
M107 ; start with print cooling fan off
    G91 ; relative positioning
G1 Z10 F120 ; raise up before homing to clear clips and prepare for wiping away priming
    G28 X0 Y0 ; home X and Y
    G1 E8 F180 ; extrude 8mm at 3mm/sec to prime
    G1 E-2.5 F900 ;retract 2.5mm at 15mm/sec
    G92 E0 ; reset extruded length
    G28 Z0 ; home Z
    G90 ; absolute positioning
M82 ; extruder to absolute mode
    M117 Printing...
FOLLOWUP COMMENT: The 3mm/Sec extrusion rate is OK for 1.75mm filament in a hexagon hot end with a 0.40mm nozzle. For 3mm filament, you might get by for this short of an extrusion at 3mm/sec but in general, IMO 1 to 1.5mm/sec would be more appropriate.
