I found the duck 3D printed foot story to be amazing since it is always heartbreaking to see an animal living in pain while dismembered.

Stories like this one are really interesting to me. Pretty soon every implant will be precisely measured and customized to exactly what being replaced. It almost takes the fear out of breaking a bone! (minus the terrible pain). I'm especially interested in joint replacements since my knees are already pretty bad at age 23. I'm not looking forward to how these will be feeling in 40 year... hopefully 3D printing implants are good enough by then so I can just swap them out with bionic ones.

I'm always eager to see the 3D Hubs reports analysis, it shows we're becoming something. With volume we'll attract more developments and initiatives.

This is the kind of company that I would like to work at! I love Japan, 3D printing, virtual reality, and computers, so what else could there be?! It looks to be a great advancement in tech and I can't wait for it to come to market.

THIS!
Instead of lasers, lights are used to expose depth. The idea feels right and It could bring the cost (of 3d-scanning) way down. I have to go back to the original post for the contest and change the final question now.....
