I'm personally a fan of bright green PLA and ABS. I don't know what it is about neon green as a color, but it's awesome! Translucent colors are also amazing.

1.75 PLA; I bought a sample pack of .25 kg spools in 10 colors. I mostly use white and black, but a few more color options is nice.
