First 3D Printed Myoelectric Arm is Created

Thanks to a bunch of individuals, and group members of e-NABLE, the first 3D printed myoelectric arm has been created for a 6 year old little boy named Alex. You may recall the Flexy-Hand from Steve Wood (Gyrobot). A man named Albert Manero took this design and integrated it into a functional prosthetic arm that electronically responds to movements in Alex's bicep. This is a truly amazing story, and it goes to show how much progress can be made when you put a bunch of great minds together, and combine that with open source technology.
