Major 3D Printing Cyber Crime Bust
'Operation Imperium' was a recent operation between Spanish and Bulgarian authorities working with Europol's European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) to disrupt and arrest 31 members of a crime network who were using 3D printers to manufacture plastic card bezels to manipulate ATMs and POS terminals, and to print fraudulent credit/ATM cards to withdraw illegal funds.
