Fualty sensor?

Printer: Printrbot Metal Simple. Using Repetier v 0.56
I think my sensor may be fualty/broken. When I try to home the Z axis, it doesn't home, it just goes up a little bit.
Do you know if the sensor is broken or if it may be a firmware problem?

Your end stop may be disconnected or borked. Send M119 to the printer and see what you get back - it will tell you if the Z end stop is triggered.

Ok. I will send that command and see what I get before getting a new part.

And you can manually trigger your end-stops with your fingers to verify the status changes when ask the firmware to return their status.
