French Company is 3D Printing Furniture
This is a company that has been showing off their products at Maker Faire in Paris this week. Their name is "Drawn" and they have created a 3D printer capable of producing full size furniture pieces, ranging from chairs, to tables, lamps, and rockers. To my surprise, it all looks rather nice (if you like a modern look). The printer used is a robotic arm that is capable of printing very large objects. This concept and designs are a clear copy of the work of Dutch designer Dirk Vander Kooij. This company "Drawn" should credit this designer if they are going to promote this as their own work…... http://www.dirkvanderkooij.nl

Dear,
Thank you for your post.
We indeed present Dirk van der Kooij's job to all journalist we meet as we do not present ourself as inventor. Even Dirk Van Der Kooin is not an inventer since the technology is in the public field for a few years already...
However, we have been proposing twice partnership with Dirk Van Der Kooij's team without even an answer.
We could understand our goals are differents... technology developped is also not exactly the same allowing us to go a bit further in customisation.
Several similar projects are coming around the world as well... just for your information...
Best,
