3D Printing has been used for so many awesome applications. Here is yet another one. Researchers at UConn have been 3D scanning and then printing parts of old antique instruments. Many of the instruments are from the 18th century, and only a few parts of such exist. Traditionally they would have to measure each piece and machine any parts needed, but this took it's toll on the actual instruments.
