MakeX M-One SLA Printer - Kickstarter Launches June 24th

A brand new affordable, high quality 3D printer based on DLP Stereolithography technology will be launching a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign starting on Tuesday the 24th of June. This printer as you can see by the comparison below, outperforms most on the market, despite it being cheaper. They will seek $100,000, and sell for between $1699 - $2099 to backers of their campaign.

"cheap" is a relative term, I guess.

When all the other line items give hard information, they just use "cheap" and "expensive" to describe material costs when those could be given as hard information.

$50/L is cheap for SLA, but it's not cheap plastic.

The case for this kind of machine is kind of narrow. This process generally makes parts with an incredibly nice surface, but the available material in this class for budget SLA machines is brittle or otherwise weak.

Well, we will make other versions with bigger case. M-one is the first version that we will release this year. The reason why we make such size is because we focus on the desktop 3D printer. It will bring convenience for people to carry and move. By the way, the material in this class is very good and will not too week. You can see the "samples" that we printe out.

Well, of course they would want to compare it to older technology, They don't even compare to the Form1+
Oh man, that timeline... "August, finish mechanical modifications. September, First Mass Production Run. October, Start Shipping" Yeah, setting up a factory line should only take like a week right guys? It all looks so simple when you just remove all the steps that the consumer isn't likely to consider.

These have appeared on eBay as being available the early part of December through a seller in Canada? Is this legitimate? The eBay asking price is $4300, though; not $1699+! Is this seller a speculator who is looking to turn a quick buck by reselling the MakeX printer?
