We all know that Nike is keen on 3D printing technology. It seems like during big sporting events they usually sponsor a new item just for that event. During the Superbowl they used 3D printing to produce a Superbowl cleat, and now they have come out with a Soccer bag, which has been partially 3D printed. The bag will be used during this year's World Cup of Soccer in Brazil. The bottom of the bag is the main part which has been 3D printed. The following players have already received the partially 3D printed bags from Nike: Brazilian Neymar, Portugese Cristiano Ronaldo, and England’s Wayne Rooney. By using 3D printing, no glue was needed to hold the bag together.
