MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation Tear Down

This is a really great blog post which shows an entire tear down of the Gen 5 Replicators.

I'm very impressed by the amount of power these printers have. I also feel like they could have made these 3d printers a bit better quality, if they would have been willing to spend a few extra bucks. That disappoints me a little, but I guess every company needs to save their pennies, and when you are selling tens of thousands of these things, those pennies add up.

Honestly I can say that nothing here surprised me a bit. Everything was pretty much what I had expected. MakerBot makes a quality product, despite what some people say.
