    Check PM

(Not my model, so sent file-link there)

Got it. It shows it moving the nozzle 15mm up before it starts printing, then commands it down to .3 (which is the first payer height).

I believe this line should be G1 not G0

    ;Layer count: 211
    ;LAYER:0
    M107
    G0 F9000 X86.52 Y87.76 Z0.30 <---

Try changing it and saving the file, then reprint.

I just sliced a file with Cura and it has a G0 there and works fine for me. Hmmm.

Found a temporary fix (could be permanent, it works well). Removing these lines, then hand-setting the nozzle to the right height before each print:
    G28 Z0 ;move Z to min endstops
    G1 Z15.0 F{travel_speed} ;move the platform down 15mm

There is no sensor that could be broken, I assume? I dont have auto-level, or anything like that. Just a stock anet a8.

No, nothing broken there. It is commanding that move to raise Z 15mm, but it also commands it back to the bed for the first layer. Not sure why yours isn't making the move back down unless something is binding up. Are you using the SD card that came with the machine? If so, I had issue with it from the get go. S3D keeps the nozzle at the same height of the bed, well it raises it to .4 then runs a purge line on the front left corner and then back down to first layer height.
