Is there a video on mesh leveling or is this simply the grid method renamed?

I'm working on an Automatic version with easy adjustments... In 5 or 6 weeks it should be available.

Any word? I have a printer that this is needed as I have not been able to print on it no matter what I try. The heavens refuse me as every single time I buy something to replace the print bed it comes warped as well. Either from the manufacturer or via shipping. I give up and I really do like 3d printing but this is beyond torture of 2 years and can't get the bed right. Only hope is a matrix leveling scheme I think.

I added just that kind of thing like a year ago, and it is in the Release Candidate now so it's on its way It's called Mesh instead of Matrix (ABL already has a "grid" method that I guess fools people to think it does more than it actually do)

From the original Pull Request https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/pull/1619
And as mentioned earlier Roxy is working on adding an Automatic feature for it. Though, I did add a simple auto thing for myself http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1120142

But I am very happy to see other testing it and liking it.

Well, I haven't used ABL in a long time since it only worked for a dead flat bed it was worthless to me since my problem has always been bent/warped beds. I thought I had it as I used Gino pads as a sort of wedge on the bad corners but nope. Just too far gone and the last replacement MK2B I purchased I had to send back and get a refund because it was warped too.

    ABL Help

The G29 command just warms over that correction matrix so it reflects what is really going on with the bed. If you turn on both Delta support and Auto_Bed_Leveling, you should have what you want.

    Unfortunately, I don't have a Delta printer so I can't verify that.
I just built a GMax printer and the auto bed leveling is not compensating for the bed enough as it isn't the most level bed ever... I am using an MKS Base V1.4 with a BLTouch sensor and Marlin RC5 firmware. The whole process works and I can see the z-axis adjusting but it is not adjusting a significant enough amount for the nozzle to stay a consistent distance from the bed. Right now I am using the grid and 4 probe points in marlin (so 16 points recorded). Is there a way I can get the auto bed leveling to more closely follow the curvature of the bed? I am eventually going to upgrade to glass (have acrylic now) to get a more level surface but I should have to given that I have ABL and a fairly accurate sensor. Will just typing G29 V 4 into my start g-code make it work or will I need to do more?
