The Marines have been working on a new 3D printed tool for use in combat. Known as the ‘Nibbler,’ this 3D printed drone will be used for both carrying supplies to soldiers on the field as well as performing surveillance with other 3D printed unmanned vehicles created by the military. The Marines recognize the potential for a revolution in manufacturing—especially as they can create on-demand, local manufacturing sites.
