Software to add E.... lines, for extruder, to hand made gcode ??

Hi.

Is there software to automatically calculate and add the E..., for the extruder, to hand made gcode ?

For some cases, i would like to write my own gcode, instead of using a slicer.

Calculating the E.. values has me worried, how do i do this ?

Or is there software to calculate and add the E... to hand made gcode ?

can't you just generate gcode with a slicer and then edit it to add your custom code ?

Then the question remains the same : How can you calculate the E.... in the added gcode.

not the foggiest - that's why you use the slicer for the movement lines.
