Tom Mitchell from Proto BuildBar told 3DPrint.com on a recent visit about a local event Proto would be exhibiting at, called Springboro STEMfest. As the event was being held at one writer's alma mater, Springboro High School (SHS), and would feature 3D printing and STEM activities, we knew we had to check it out. This was only the second year for Springboro STEMfest - last year's event took place on March 14th (or Pi Day), and was led by a group of five parent volunteers. There was no budget in place for the event - funds and supplies were donated. The event has definitely picked up steam (ha!), and there were over 55 exhibits at the 2017 STEMfest.
